Projects & Design

My professional work consists of in-class content, professional experience, and materials created while volunteering ranging from print and digital media to social media content to newsletters to radio pieces.

Professional Experience

Agr International, Inc.

Advertising/Marketing

When I was originally hired into Agr, my main objective was to fully take over the advertising program. Since then, I have created a strong relationship with our advertisers, manage a six-figure ad budget and scheduling, create the copy, and design the content. All advertising is promoted to generate web traffic, create brand resonance in the industry, share our new products, and build a better experience for our customers. As a major manufacturer of quality machinery, ads are tailored for other businesses big or small. Making B2B deliverables has really changed the way I look at marketing. It's niche and encompasses a whole world outside of social media campaigns I was primarily seeing before as a consumer.

Outside of advertising, my scope of work also includes both print/digital production for internal and external communication initiatives, copywriting, trade show support, basic video development, basic seo, and crm projects.

PRSA Pittsburgh

Public Service Committee

In 2023, I joined the Public Service Committee for the Pittsburgh chapter of the Public Relations Society of America. PRSSA, the student chapter, was incredible during my time at Slippery Rock. I mean't a lot of great people, heard from very knowledgable speakers, and was able to learn more about public relations from a hands-on perspective. Getting involved after graduating was always an intention of mine.

My first year, our team worked with Construction Junction, a local repurposing business looking to create a marketing campaign for their upcoming 25th anniversary. After discussing plans and putting our thoughts in place, we developed a campaign proposal which I curated into a presentation. Overall, it was great to feel back at home in public relations after working for some time in design while meshing my creative skills into the presentation provided below.

Construction Junction 25th Anniversary Campaign Proposal

We partnered with Willissae's Agency for Vision and Empowerment (WAVE) in 2024 to help with the launch of their new location in the Lincoln-Lemington-Belmar neighborhood. During development of the awareness campaign, I helped design promotional materials as well as yard signs and new banner options for the office space. Different from the first campaign I was a part of, this experience again helped expand my tool belt while getting involved with a great organization.

Onto 2025, I am now the Public Service Committee Chair working with my group of public relations experts to lend our support to the local non-profit community.

Fundraising & Development

When not building relationships with sponsors, collecting donations, or organizing fundraising efforts, I designed deliverables for the campaigns both digitally and in print such as brochures, flyers, tear-offs, email blast graphics, entry forms, invitations, signage and more. Below are a few examples of some of the items made for past campaigns and events.

Social Media Management

Furniture at the Firehouse

Alongside events, I managed the “Furniture at the Firehouse” resale thrift store Instagram and Facebook pages daily. The posts were focused on sharing new products, creating a consistent editing style, and routine posting. In three months (April 2022 - July 2022), while creating consistency and routine posting, @furnitureatthefirehouse Instagram saw a 52.1% increase in followers and a 95.6% increase in accounts reached. The socials also began utilizing stories on both Facebook and Instagram, reels, and highlight tabs when under my management.

Don't Miss This Moment Campaign

The Campaign to Change Direction is a non-profit organization focused on erasing the stigma around mental health. My team was challenged with creating a well-rounded group of materials that would advocate for change.

We created a series of materials including a radio advertisement and social media messaging for our proposal "Don't Miss This Moment"; a campaign focused on addressing the issue of suicide among young adults and college students.

Stray Solutions Animal Rescue Inc.

For my final capstone class, my peers and I were tasked with compiling everything we have learned over the past four years into a single, cohesive communication campaign that our client could actually put into effect at the end of the semester.

My team was given the opportunity to work for a local animal rescue that was in need of basic foundational materials and resources. Along with the written content such as a media pitch letter and framework, I put together a brand new website with all new material, created basic templates for social media posts, designed a brochure, and designed a fact sheet with misconceptions of animal fostering.

Other Projects

I've worked on a variety of other projects whether in past positions, volunteer groups, or on my own as a freelancer.

These projects were meant to expand my tool belt and create designs I normally wouldn't be asked to.
